We have implemented an integrated quality policy, to protect the environment and promote responsible forestry:

We have obtained FSC® and PEFC™ Chain of Custody certification.
The products are clearly identified as being PEFC™ certified and are traceable thanks to the Chain of Custody system. This ensures that the cellulose used comes from forests or plantations that have been certified as complying with PEFC™ Principles and Criteria of good forestry or that the cellulose comes from pre consumer and post consumer recycled materials.The Forest Stewardship Council® is an international NGO that promotes management of the world’s forests that is environmentally appropriate, socially useful and economically sustainable. We also have Imprim’ Vertc ertification certifying that the hazardous waste is disposed of correctly, hazardous liquids are stored correctly, not toxic products are used, the energy consumption of the facility is monitored and the commitment to heightening environmental awareness amongst employees and customers.
We are EcoVadis certified. This is a sustainability and ethics rating agency. EcoVadis rates the quality of the company’s CSR management system, paying addition to criteria like corporate governance, respect for human rights, attention to the environment and work methods.
We are part of the Cerved Credibility network, which identifies the companies who have chosen Credibility Manager, a service that enables the company’s economic and financial data to be monitored, analyzed and updated so that the company can be given the most accurate valuation possible.

We have been awarded two stars by the Legality Rating. This rating indicates that the high legality standards set by the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) have been met and from one to three stars are awarded.
La Tipografica Varese extends over 22 thousand square metres.
Production takes place in a building containing 5 floors that communicate with one another and have the latest pre-printing, printing and binding technologies.
We have a long track record of innovation: we were one of the first to enter the world of stereotype printing and then offset printing; we were pioneers in softbound binding technology.
In 1995, we were one of the first in the world to install a large-format two-colour rotary press that was able to print 80 pages of school books in a single revolution. On the other hand in 2001, the world’s first large format 4-colour rotary press appeared that was specifically designed to produce also limited edition books thanks to the flexible fold. In 2009 we doubled, with an even bigger second rotary press.
We have complemented the state-of-the-art machines with robotized and computerized solutions to make the daily work of our partners easier.
Since 1927, we have been serving the biggest Italian and European publishers, other publishers, large and small, manufacturers and businesses working in different sectors.
