La Tipografica Varese becomes part of Elite

11

La Tipografica Varese, a European leader in the world of book printing and an important part of the economic and social fabric of the Varese area, became part of the international Elite community, the international programme of the London Stock Exchange Group that was launched at the Italian Stock Exchange in 2012 in collaboration with Confindustria and is aimed at ambitious companies with a solid business model and a clear growth strategy.

La Tipografica Varese, together with another 34 new Italian companies, was admitted to the programme dedicated to businesses with great growth potential. The new Italian companies who have started on this journey come from 9 different regions and operate in different sectors, including fashion, industry and technology.

“We are very pleased to be able to welcome La Tipografica Varese to Elite, to which 1000 companies belong”, said Luca Peyrano, the CEO of Elite. “This is an important milestone for us that is a new starting point towards achieving even more ambitious goals. In just six years, Elite has become a global programme covering more than 30 countries and its objective is to accelerate the process of business growth and internationalization. We have defined a new model for liaising with entrepreneurs, where the focus is on the needs of the company and content comes before form and simplicity comes before red tape. We take a neutral and independent stance to companies’ funding decisions and opening to capital markets, whether through going public, issuing bonds or opening up to private equity. In Elite, we come together above all in order to grow and finance remains at the service of ideas and the company’s growth ambitions”.

“We are grateful to Elite for the chance that it offers us”, explains Gianandrea Redaelli, the fourth generation in charge of La Tipografica Varese. “Our joining this large international community is an opportunity that we are very pleased to seize because we are certain that it will open the doors to new and numerous meetings, both with experts who can be very useful and with businesses in parts of the world that for us today are still unexplored but which we really want to discover and explore with the same prudence and the same courage that have always distinguished us. Yes, because for us Elite also means courage. The courage to face the future with optimism and determination to grow: companies that stand still today will the first to go under tomorrow. On the other hand, our goal is to go on printing books for the next 90 years”.
